I had a buyer who claims that a trans-oceanic radio I sold was not packaged well. I wrapped it in a double box with newspaper for support. However, he sent me a picture of the radio in an empty box without any newspaper around it. Despite me showing him a picture of the radio wrapped in newspaper before shipping, he insists it arrived unprotected. The listing stated no returns, but he wants a full refund of $[redacted] or $[redacted] for damages. The radio was in great condition when shipped, any damage would have been from shipping. Even though he didn't request insurance, I sent it through priority mail with fifty dollars of insurance. He also asked me to include shipping in the price. Thank you for any assistance. - Dana

I am experiencing issues with fjmartincarmona. Despite being a long-time eBay buyer who has always followed up on missing orders appropriately, the seller claims I am deceitful. I believe the seller's attitude is disrespectful and impolite, which goes against eBay's policies. It would be ideal for them to face consequences or at least offer an apology to buyers who have paid but not received their orders. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. - Ernesto Pio S.

I am sharing the email I sent to the seller regarding the misrepresented item I received. The advertisement clearly specifies the glasses as men's glasses as shown in the item specifics provided. Following eBay's policy on misrepresentation, I am entitled to a refund or replacement. Kindly provide a prepaid shipping label for the return of these glasses and a full refund. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.

Dear eBay User Support, I am writing to bring to your attention some discrepancies in my recent bill. Upon reviewing my account, I noticed some overcharges related to a Louis Vuitton bag I sold. It seems that the payment for the bag was received twice from two different buyers, both of whom have been refunded. One buyer changed her mind, and I promptly refunded her. However, eBay is showing this as a sale, which is not accurate. I then resold the bag to another buyer who ended up not liking it. Upon logging in, my account reflects a higher amount than I actually received, indicating that I owe $60. I kindly request you to review my account and rectify these errors. I am eager to settle my invoice but would like this matter clarified first. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution. Best regards, Sherry A. Taranto

I placed an order for a cracked screen repair over a week ago. The seller then requested $79.95 after the item was shipped, trying multiple times to have me send the payment outside of eBay. They even sent a money request through PayPal, which seems like a security breach. Additionally, they inquired about my email address and asked if I had Venmo, CashApp, or Zelle, all within eBay messages. Despite agreeing to return my original cracked screen and issue a refund, my phone was returned today still damaged. I've attached photos showing the condition of the phone before it was sent. Please process a refund and take appropriate action against the seller for this fraudulent activity, which should not be permitted on eBay.

Hello, I tried to reach a customer service representative by phone with the provided instructions and the estimated wait time was 1 minute. Unfortunately, upon clicking the contact button, I encountered a "your account is suspended" message. I am seeking a functional phone number to speak with a live agent. Kindly share a valid contact number as I am unable to connect using the provided eBay Customer Service number. Thank you. Shawn

I have been receiving voice-activated phone calls from eBay indicating that my order will be charged $[redacted].00. I have not placed any orders or have information regarding a purchase amounting to $[redacted].00. Feeling suspicious, I refrained from confirming the order by pressing 1 as prompted. I believe this could be a scam. It would be helpful to inform others about these potentially fraudulent calls to raise awareness. Looking forward to your response. Thank you. Best regards, Michelle L.

I purchased a pair of earbuds from a seller, which were open box items. I informed the seller promptly about issues with the right earbud not charging properly, losing charge quickly, and having problems with volume and fast forward functions. Despite keeping the seller updated and trying troubleshooting steps, they did not respond. Now, when I returned the earbuds, the seller accused me of damaging or swapping them, which is untrue. Throughout my 17 years on this online platform, I have maintained integrity in all my transactions. I seek help in resolving this issue and recovering the remaining 50% of my money spent. Thank you for your anticipated support in addressing this matter.

I purchased an LG Stylo 6 on eBay, advertised as brand new. Upon receiving it, I noticed the Cricket branding both on the phone and when turning it on. Despite trying to reach out to eBay's customer service for clarification, I have been unable to speak directly with anyone regarding this issue. I have never used Cricket service before, so I am puzzled as to why this branding appears on my supposedly new phone. For urgent assistance, you can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted] If you miss me, please leave a message with a callback number. Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Hello, I have once again been a victim of fraud by Ebay, and I am very dissatisfied. I did not sell anything, yet I am receiving invoices from Ebay. First dispute: a few months ago, I listed a processor for auction. Since I couldn't remove it from the sale, someone bid on it. I refused to send the processor as I did not want to sell it on Ebay. Ultimately, no sale was completed, yet I received €[redacted] on paypal without my consent and was reimbursed an abnormal amount with a €5.57 difference on paypal. I never authorized this sale; I could not cancel it. I wish to be immediately reimbursed €5.57, likely from Ebay's margin on this sale that I declined. Additionally, I am still receiving invoices for unknown reasons. The latest invoice I received is for €14.39 for January, even though I have no association with Ebay and will not be working with you again. I request a refund for this amount. Once all these reimbursements are processed - the €5.57 on paypal related to the selling fees and the cancellation of all my invoices since I do not sell through you - I would like to close my account and unsubscribe from all your platforms. My dissatisfaction is significant. Goodbye. and please reimburse me.

I recently received an email from the seller, Rose R. Amey, regarding a [redacted] Toyota Tacoma priced at $1,[redacted] including shipping. After corresponding, she involved eBay Motors, who requested I purchase $1,[redacted] in eBay cards, take photos, and send them via email. Following this, eBay asked for an additional $[redacted] for shipping insurance. Despite paying the requested amount, I have not heard back from the seller after reaching out. I have all evidence of the transactions and recipients. I am now out of $1,[redacted] and seeking assistance in getting my money refunded.

The seller falsely advertised the camper van Fiat Ducato registration WJZ4021 as a campervan or motorhome, which is misleading and unsafe to drive. Despite being disabled and relying on the vehicle, the seller is refusing to provide their name and business address on the receipt. Since 5/2/21, attempts to have the seller collect the vehicle and return the car taken as part of the exchange have been unsuccessful. The only known information about the seller is from their eBay account [redacted] SOKEE([redacted]). The seller has displayed aggressive behavior over the phone and the delivery driver has been abusive, making it a distressing situation. There are concerns that the seller might mistreat other buyers in a similar way. Assistance in resolving this troubling situation would be greatly appreciated.

I attempted to contact Ebay customer support through chat where I waited for a minute with no response. Despite repeatedly requesting a call from Ebay, I received emails stating they were unable to reach me on the correct phone number I provided. I made sure to stay by the phone, even updating the number on file, but still did not receive any calls. The issue I am facing is with my account SILVERGEMSGIRL after signing up for managed payments. Despite having a sale, the funds were sent to a different account due to an error in my account number input. I wanted to address this before making changes, but the inability to reach Ebay led me to attempt correcting it myself, which is currently unsuccessful. This issue is preventing me from responding to a current offer, risking losing money once more. I am frustrated by the lack of communication with Ebay regarding this urgent matter. If this persists, I may consider moving my sales to a different platform like Facebook.

I have won an item, but the seller is requesting payment through Zelle or Cash App, which makes me uneasy. The listing didn't mention using these payment methods. I prefer a more secure transaction method like PayPal or a debit card. The seller mentioned being at the post office and wanting to complete the transaction there. I'm still unsure about proceeding with the payment method suggested.

My eBay username is rjesquires. I am referencing the transaction for the Vocabulary Workshop Level Red Enriched Edition books sold, with the Item ID: [redacted]32. The book sold for $9.95 plus $3.00 shipping, and then a $13.60 refund was issued. The buyer was Rebecca Palmieri, and the order number was 04-06[redacted]5. I was not notified by eBay that the product was sold. When the buyer requested the book and I found out, I sent it via FedEx at a cost of $11.25. It seems the buyer was already refunded and did not mention receiving the book. Despite the buyer's claim of not receiving it, they were refunded. I am requesting a refund for the shipping charges of $11.25 since I was not notified of the sale by eBay. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Richard Saliba.

I purchased a replacement battery for my Black & Decker drill from the seller yuntuo6415 on eBay. However, the battery received does not match the image in the listing. The battery has three prongs instead of the two prongs shown in the picture, making it incompatible with my drill. Unfortunately, I cannot find my purchase on the eBay website to contact support for help. I wish to return the incorrect item and receive the right one or a refund. Here are the details of the listing: Title: For BLACK & DECKER 18V 18 Volt HPB18 Slide Battery Pack Ni-CD HPD1800 FSB18 New Price: $19.83 Order number: 22-06[redacted]3 Item ID: [redacted]86 Seller: yuntuo6415 I appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue promptly.

On February 1st, [redacted], I made two purchases for two pairs of women's shoes, each costing $30.22. These transactions are reflected as deductions from my bank account on PayPal. However, I have not yet received shipping notifications from the seller as of February 12, [redacted]. Moreover, these purchases do not appear in my purchase history on eBay, preventing me from checking tracking details. Despite PayPal indicating that eBay has charged and received payment for these items, I am puzzled by their absence in my eBay purchase history. This has raised concerns about possible fraudulent activity. I would appreciate your guidance on this matter. Thank you, S. Nicholas.

I recently fell victim to a scam by a company called Global Grant Fund, where I was misled into thinking I was communicating with my brother-in-law through Messenger. They promised me $[redacted],[redacted] in return for sending eBay cards, which I later realized was a complete scam. My actual brother-in-law confirmed it wasn't him. The scammers even tried reaching out to another family member, Mary Kay Newport. Unfortunately, I ended up with a fraudulent charge of around $2,[redacted] on my Discover card. I feel embarrassed about the situation. I am Diane Woerdeman, and I can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted] Thank you for your assistance.

I just set up my account today to shop for a second-hand iPhone. While trying to purchase an iPhone I liked, I repeatedly encountered an error message about eBay account protection measures restricting the number of items I could buy. This was confusing as it was my first purchase and the only item in my cart. After some research online, I discovered one troubleshooting step was to sign out and back in. I decided to sign out, intending to add the desired item to my cart before signing back in later. However, upon trying to log back in, I received an unexpected message stating my account had been suspended. I am unsure why this happened and what actions led to this violation of eBay's policies.
