Subject: Difficulty Reporting Seller and Open Returns Issue Dear Customer Service, I have followed the link provided to address an issue with open returns or Item not received requests, but I am unable to proceed past the message stating action is required. What steps should I take next? Additionally, when attempting to report the seller upon receiving the item, I only encountered irrelevant drop-down options. Thank you, Sandra T. --- On Saturday, 18 September [redacted], I received a response advising me to report the seller for overpricing an item. I am following up to seek guidance on this matter. Thank you, Sandra T.

A delivery was attempted at my address on Tuesday at 11:53, but I was not home. The delivery driver marked the package as handed to a resident, which is not accurate because I was working 15 miles away at the time. I provided evidence that I was at work from 7:30 to 3:30 and now the driver is saying it's not enough. The driver took a picture of the item at my front door, but he did not hand it to me, leave it with a neighbor, or use a safe place as instructed. I feel that the driver is being dismissive and not taking responsibility for the situation.

I recently purchased a Microsoft Office Home And Business [redacted] - New Sealed but encountered issues with the activation key provided. Despite receiving a replacement key from the seller after reporting the problem, I continue to face the same error upon installation attempts on 23/09/[redacted]. Despite contacting the seller again for assistance, I have not received a response. As I am pressed for time, I simply need the applications to work as expected. My refund request was closed without resolution, and I now seek to return the item and receive a refund of £32.50. Order Number: 20-07[redacted]4

Dear Sir, I have been locked out of my account again, just like last week. The password reset process is not functional, and the helpdesk's automated message instructs me to log in. I cannot log in because I have been locked out for the second time in two weeks. Please arrange for a call from the security team at 07[redacted]50 to reset my password promptly. Kindly review our previous correspondence with the helpdesk over three days last week. My concerns were not addressed then, as predicted. I do not need another generic response like last week. Sending an email without confirming a callback will be unproductive. I urge you to take responsibility for this matter. Regards, Paul Shears

I purchased a battery from eBay for my Dewalt tools and received one that looks different from the listing. When I inquired, they offered money back and a 5-year warranty, which was already included in the original listing. When I tried to return the item, the listing vanished. I expressed my disappointment with their lack of honesty and requested to return the incorrect battery. Despite taking screenshots and keeping copies, the situation remains confusing and time-consuming. I hope for a resolution as dealing with sellers like this is frustrating.

The item I purchased, an ELEGOO LCD UV 405nm Rapid 3D Resin For LCD 3D Printer in grey, did not arrive. I followed the procedure and attempted to contact the seller, leelitas ([redacted]), multiple times as advised, but received no response. Unfortunately, the procedure has now lapsed and stopped. The item is no longer in my purchase history, so I cannot use the reference to file another complaint. I paid £76.36 for this item and I am seeking a refund. I believe action should be taken against the seller for not addressing my inquiries. Despite my attempts, I have been unable to secure a refund as the seller remains unresponsive. All communication was conducted through Ebay, although I am no longer able to access those messages as the purchase information seems to have disappeared. What steps can be taken to address this issue? - M.C.

I purchased a Brother Scan n Cut Mat from fashiondesign24seven on August 7, [redacted], expecting it to work with my wife's SDX Scan n Cut machine. When it arrived on August 10 (great timing), I didn't test it as it appeared to be a genuine mat. Last Saturday, September 25, the mat I was using became unusable, prompting me to try the fashiondesign24seven mat on September 27. To my disappointment, it wouldn't load in the machine. After contacting Brother, I learned that the mat I bought is for a CM model and not compatible with the SDX machine. I am not seeking a refund but would like to exchange it for the correct mat, even if it means paying the price difference. The mat is still in its original packaging, and I genuinely believed it was suitable for the SDX machine. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be appreciated. Thank you, Will.

I am a 71-year-old retired customer, Pauline Buyer, who purchased item [redacted]04, a black dog carrier backpack, back on August 4th, [redacted]. I received the wrong item and agreed with the seller to return it for a refund. However, as of August 30th, [redacted], the item has not been returned despite multiple excuses from the seller, ranging from being on holiday to being in the hospital. Most recently, they claimed their son sent it to the wrong address, which I find hard to believe as eBay provided a label with my correct address. I am now disputing the refund as I suspect the seller is not being honest, keeping my item and my money. I am not willing to accept a refund and would like this issue rectified fairly, as I cannot afford to lose money on return postage and the cost of the item.

I created my eBay account in August [redacted] and recently my support team in Pakistan listed a few items on eBay. Shortly after, I received a message stating that my account has been permanently suspended. The reason given was that they detected activity that posed a risk to the eBay community. As a result, I am unable to buy or sell on eBay, and any associated accounts have also been suspended. Outstanding fees are now due, and any undisputed amounts will be charged using the payment method on file. Despite any attempts, the decision to suspend my account is final and cannot be appealed. The listings that were removed included various items such as a lab coat, whiteboard tape, foam bath numbers, car seat protectors, and high visibility vests.

I placed an order with a company in Germany. They shipped the packages to the UK via Parcelforce. Parcelforce notified me that the items were being held due to taxes. I contacted the supplier, and they agreed to cover the charges as they advertised free delivery. I paid the charges through eBay but only received one parcel out of the three ordered. After contacting the supplier again, I found out about the missing parcels. Despite receiving two more charge notices from Parcelforce, the supplier assured me they would cover the fees. Although they promised to send the money, it never showed in my bank account. The parcels were returned to the seller as Parcelforce only keeps items for 20 days. After several messages, the seller issued a partial refund that did not cover the full amount paid for the goods. The seller claims the customer charges for duty tax were deducted. I'm not satisfied with this outcome after numerous emails, time wasted, and financial loss, especially since I rely on these items for my self-employed work.

"I sold a pair of Kanyon Gorse XW X-Ridecountry riding boots in size 8 extra. The customer, C.R., requested a return due to missing parts or pieces, claiming the box was taped up and had no packing inside one of the boots. Although I regularly tape box spines for shipping, I checked and the box was not damaged. The customer had the boots for 9 days before reporting the issue and suggests they were returned by a previous buyer. I offered a refund and a replacement box, noting that these were clearance items due to a store closure. The customer mentioned the boots were good quality but insisted on a return. I suspect the reason behind the return might be that the boots didn't fit, as I provided detailed measurements and stated no returns in the ad. It's disappointing as my feedback on these boots is excellent. I'm puzzled by the customer's actions after 9 days and feel it's unjust to blame me for the situation."

I am owed a $[redacted] refund by eBay. However, they require a minimum of $[redacted] or $[redacted] in my account to process the refund. Every time they attempt to refund, they deduct $[redacted] or $[redacted] from my account. This situation is frustrating, and I am considering taking legal action once my vehicle is operational.

I am currently in the process of returning an item and requesting a refund from the seller. I bought a car protection cover on April 7th, and since then, I have been constantly repairing new rips on the poor-quality material with gaffer tape. I contacted the seller, provided pictures of the taped cover, and after a few days, they mentioned they would reach out to the manufacturers. After waiting for about three weeks, I messaged them again expressing my desire for a refund and return. They agreed, but when I asked for a return shipping address, they promised to send it later. Despite my follow-up, I am still awaiting a response with the shipping details.

Hello, I listed a Bass Ukulele for sale on eBay and elsewhere. Despite declining an offer and informing a potential buyer that the item had been sold elsewhere, they proceeded to make a payment. I have not received the funds in my bank and have been trying to communicate with the buyer to resolve the issue. Despite my attempts, the matter remains unresolved. I prefer speaking over the phone due to being disabled. I am disappointed by the complexity of handling such situations on eBay and it has made me hesitant to continue using the platform for selling in the future. I can be reached at 07[redacted]70. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Kathy

Dear Sir/Madam, I am reaching out for assistance regarding a recent purchase on eBay. I bought item number [redacted]36 with order number [redacted]80. Shortly after my purchase, I requested a color change via email. The item was sent, but I then requested a refund. The seller instructed me to return the item via Royal Mail with proof of postage, which I did on Monday, 4th October. I emailed the seller on the same day to inform them of the return, and on 5th October, they sent me a postage label. I have since inquired about the status of my return for a full refund, but I have not received a response. I kindly ask for assistance from eBay in ensuring I receive a total refund, including postage fees. I have always had positive experiences on eBay before and am disappointed by this situation. Unfortunately, I am unable to contact eBay directly by phone. I appreciate any help in resolving this matter. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Kind regards

I am experiencing difficulties with my eBay account as it has been locked. eBay is sending a verification code to my home phone via text message, but my landline cannot receive texts. I cannot access my account to update the phone number. I have reached out for assistance over the past four days with no success. I have tried contacting eBay's CEO and the provided phone numbers, but I am stuck in automated loops. My account is crucial to me as I have invested time and money into it. I am hoping for a human representative to contact me on my landline to resolve this issue promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I recently tried to purchase an Alexa Dot on Ebay. When the delivery address defaulted to mine instead of my granddaughter's, I contacted the seller for assistance. They were unable to edit the address within Ebay, so they offered to send it outside of the platform for an additional cost, which they did not specify. Unfortunately, I couldn't rely on my daughter for help, so I had to decide whether to cancel the order or have it sent to the wrong address through Ebay. Due to my visual impairment, I struggled to input a different delivery address from the billing address. It seems some companies restrict delivery to the billing address, especially for first-time transactions. I urge Ebay to investigate sellers suggesting transactions outside their platform. I will be contacting Paypal to prevent any unauthorized charges. I prefer phone communication due to my poor eyesight at 01[redacted]00, but Ebay only offers email support.

I bought a bracelet expecting it to be gold based on the item description, but when it arrived, it was actually a mix of yellow and rose gold. I reached out to the seller, who insisted that it was clearly stated as rose gold if I clicked on the item description to reveal more details. Despite explaining it was a genuine oversight on my part, the seller is unwilling to provide a refund.

I recently created an eBay account and listed nine items for sale. However, I encountered a temporary restriction when trying to list another item. eBay mentioned they would provide details via message and email, but three days have passed with no communication. Despite attempting to reach out through the chatbot, I have not been able to connect with an agent. How can I resolve this issue with eBay when direct communication seems unavailable?

I kindly request the closure of the seller account associated with tomolivermotorcycles. They are using unauthorized images of vehicles that do not belong to them. eBay has previously removed these images uploaded by different sellers. In each listing, please note the second picture stating the vehicles do not belong to the seller and suggesting contact outside of eBay. This seller has numerous listings. Kindly delete all of them promptly. Thank you for addressing this quickly. [redacted]
