Hello, Good evening! I received a distressing message on October 30, [redacted], from phone number [redacted]. The sender made hurtful remarks about my partner. This person appears to have access to our WhatsApp conversations and I am deeply troubled. I kindly request assistance in identifying the individual behind this number, including their WhatsApp account details, device information, IMEI code, and current contact number. I am emotionally affected by this situation and would appreciate any help in resolving it. Thank you.

Dear Support Team, Last month, on the 13th of November, my problem emerged after I received a WhatsApp message from a contact requesting a number mistakenly sent to me via SMS. After forwarding the SMS back to the sender, within minutes, I lost access to my WhatsApp account. Upon trying to reactivate my account using a new verification code, I received a notification that my account was being accessed on another device, blocking me from logging in for 12 hours. After this wait, I contacted WhatsApp to report that my account had been compromised due to a scam. Unfortunately, I discovered that my number had been suspended, and I was banned from the app for violating their terms. Despite multiple emails explaining the situation and emphasizing that I was a victim of identity theft on WhatsApp, I have not received any assistance. Being unable to use WhatsApp has caused significant disruption to my studies and work, as communication is heavily reliant on the app. Moreover, my family, particularly my grandparents who rely on WhatsApp to keep in touch, are also affected as I live far from them. I kindly request your prompt assistance in restoring my account, as I have already suffered the consequences of falling victim to a scam. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I sent an email yesterday and have not received a response yet. I recently changed phones and am unable to access WhatsApp. Due to the lack of cell phone service in America, I rely on Wi-Fi here. I tried to join a group video call, but now it seems like I'm stuck in a call that I can't exit. A photo of two group members appeared with the video and microphone icons crossed out. Even though my video is still onscreen, I can't make any calls because it appears like I'm still in that non-existent call. I attempted to fix the issue by deleting the group, but I'm still faced with the same problem blocking me from using my chats.

I received a call informing me that I had won [redacted]. The person provided a contact number, and I reached out to them. Despite their repeated calls, I did not respond properly. They mentioned that there would be no charge, but later asked for [redacted], [redacted], and even [redacted]. When I checked my bank balance, I only had [redacted] rupees. I tried to stop the process, but they insisted. They asked me to install Emo chat, then demanded [redacted] before activating my WhatsApp account. I need help to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

My WhatsApp account has been hacked. I have already changed my SIM card, retaining the same phone number. Despite attempting to recover my account, the code required is not coming through. WhatsApp informs me that due to multiple failed attempts (by the hackers), I must wait 10 hours and XXX minutes before trying again. The pressing issue is that the hackers are reaching out to all my contacts, expanding their reach. Even when the 12-hour period expires, the hackers will likely maintain access to the account, blocking my entry. Unfortunately, the responses from WhatsApp's email system offer no immediate or helpful solutions, leaving me unable to progress with resolving this issue.

Someone called me about a group discussion at 7:30/8, mentioning that each member had a code. I accidentally shared three digits of the six-digit reset code before realizing my mistake. Even though I declined authorization on the phone prompt, I received another WhatsApp code. Now, I can no longer access the WhatsApp groups I was previously part of.

I received a text from an unknown person asking for money in a different language. I declined the request. However, the next day, my WhatsApp number was banned. It seems unfair, as I suspect the person reported me to WhatsApp. I have attempted to contact WhatsApp multiple times, but my case has not been reviewed. I removed WhatsApp from my phone due to contact syncing issues. Now, when trying to reinstall it, I am prompted for a pin code I don't remember. I was told the pin code was sent to my email linked to the account. I don't remember linking an email to my account and haven't received any emails about it. I received a message from my friend requesting a code, which I sent, unknowingly falling victim to hackers. Consequently, my account got locked, and each attempt to use a new verification code results in extended lockout periods by WhatsApp. I've been trying to contact WhatsApp to request deactivation of my account, but I haven't received any response. Since this incident occurred at 6 pm yesterday, I've been experiencing panic attacks. My friends are receiving messages from my compromised account, and I'm unable to regain access. I urgently need WhatsApp to deactivate my account and allow me to reactivate it on my own.
