My flight UA2180 from Seattle to Chicago on 12/23/[redacted] at 12:29 am was unexpectedly canceled after boarding due to seat availability issues. I was deplaned, left waiting at the airport until it closed at 5 am, and have since received multiple flight rescheduling emails from United which do not align with what was communicated by the gate agent. As a result, I will be missing my connecting flight UA1715 from Chicago to Burlington scheduled for 7:15 am on the same day. I am seeking assistance in retrieving my checked bags and exploring options for either rescheduling my flights for a later date next week or requesting a refund for my entire trip, including my return flights UA3787 and UA326.

I have a flight booked for tomorrow at 6:30 am from Boise to Cincinnati with a stop in Denver. However, there has been a schedule change that now has me departing at 6:15 am from Boise to San Francisco, with a layover of an hour and a half. Then from San Francisco to Denver with a layover for 5 and a half hours, before finally proceeding from Denver to Cincinnati and arriving at 12:30 am. This results in a total of 7 and a half hours of layovers, making my arrival at the destination 10 and a half hours later than originally planned. Is there any way we can address this situation?

I would like to request a partial refund for my recent experience with United Airlines. I had booked a first-class flight, UA1809, from IAD (Dulles Washington) to FFL (Fort Lauderdale), which was canceled. I was rebooked on flight UA1073, which presented several issues. Firstly, I was given an economy seat instead of the first-class seat I had purchased. Secondly, the flight landed in Miami instead of Fort Lauderdale, causing additional time and expenses to reach my original destination. Lastly, the flight arrived later than scheduled. I believe I am entitled to compensation for these inconveniences.

Is United Airlines playing with us? My flight at 10:11 pm on December 25th from EWR to BNA Nashville has been rescheduled over 8 times while I was waiting to board. The latest update is a departure time of 2:21 am. The lack of communication regarding delays or cancellations is unacceptable. My taxi at BNA Nashville has been waiting for me for 6 hours already. Will United Airlines compensate me for the additional taxi charges incurred due to the delay? This experience has been frustrating, and I will not choose United Airlines again in the future. The service provided is subpar and lacks customer friendliness. The unhelpful and uncooperative staff have only added to the overall poor experience. I sincerely hope that United Airlines improves their services to avoid inconveniencing passengers like myself in the future.

On 2/21, while traveling with United Airlines from FCA to BNA via DEN, my two suitcases got delayed. I submitted a delayed baggage claim at BNA. Where'sMySuitcase.com collected the bags on 12/22, assuring me they would reach me that same night, but they didn't. Since then, there has been no further information. Attempts to contact the company via phone and email have been unsuccessful as they are unresponsive. It is now 12/26, and there has been no update. United Airlines' customer service wait times are long, surpassing 2 to 5 hours, with the advice to reach out to Where'sMyBag.com, who unfortunately are also not responding. The delayed bags contain valuable items.

On December 11, [redacted], at 9:39 am, I traveled from Omaha, Nebraska, to Denver, Colorado. Upon being instructed to check my roller carry-on bag, I had to move my work laptop and accessories to my backpack. While boarding, I needed help due to a sore shoulder. Unfortunately, the United workers at the gate were unhelpful, telling me to rebook if I required assistance. Even though I was the last passenger to board, I was not assisted with my heavy backpack. As a result, I had to push my carry-on myself. Three weeks later, I am still experiencing discomfort from the strain on that day and need to visit a doctor. Despite filing a complaint through the United app immediately, I have not received any response. I expect better treatment from the airline's employees and hope this issue can be addressed.

United has lost our bags over a week ago, and it has been a frustrating experience with no updates or feedback. Despite visiting the airport, we received no helpful information, making the customer service zero. We were grateful for one United employee who provided some funds for essentials, but it has been more than seven days without any resolution. Concerns are mounting about our bags reaching us after we return home. Patience is wearing thin, and we urgently need our bags and communication from United. Attempting to reach out by phone is challenging due to our South African cell number, so we are relying on email communication. The missing bag file number is MCO26941M, and the hold times on the call center are unacceptable. United, please address this issue promptly and provide us with feedback and a resolution.

After flying to Austin from Maryland with a connection in Houston, United Airlines informed us that our luggage, along with most other passengers from Houston, did not make it due to the plane being too heavy. They assured us they would deliver our bags to our location in Austin. Despite multiple attempts to track our bags through the app, calls to the [redacted] number, website, and chat support, we received inconsistent information about the status of our luggage. We were initially told the bags were out for delivery at 3:30 p.m., then later informed they were still being located. The app then claimed arrival at 10:30 p.m. with a promised delivery time of 6:30 a.m. We have filed a claim for our four missing bags. Surprisingly, only one bag was delivered at 7:06 a.m., causing further confusion as our claim now states all bags have been delivered. With long wait times on the phone, we urgently require our medications and clothes.

Subject: Assistance Needed for Missing Luggage Incident Good afternoon, I arrived in Brussels on December 24th from Newark, Flight UA99, which was delayed for approximately 3 hours causing me to miss my connecting flight to Manchester, UK. As a result, I had to book a Ryanair flight from Charleroi the next day. When I attempted to retrieve my luggage from Carousel 7, I couldn't find it. The queue at the lost luggage counter was too long, risking me missing my flight from Charleroi. My luggage is tagged with my name, Tessa Aspden, and my contact number is +44 7[redacted]99. In case my luggage was re-routed, here is my address: 5 Brantwood Drive Bolton BL2 5LX Email: [redacted] I have reported this incident to United Airlines (lost report ID – [redacted]6) and Brussels Airport (V11252/22). The bag tracking reference from Newark is [redacted]. Though I was offered flights by United Airlines on December 25th, it's possible my bag went on without me on the following flights: - Brussels to Munich on Brussels Airlines – Flight [redacted] - Munich to Manchester on Lufthansa – Flight [redacted] Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Tessa Aspden

I had a reservation change where my DEN - SFO - OGG flight got split into two separate flights: DEN - OGG (UA [redacted]) and SFO - OGG (UA [redacted]). This created duplicate flights at the same time, removing my original connection to SFO. The website won't let me check in due to the duplicate itinerary. I need assistance in reassigning the original connection and being able to check in properly.

Both of my round trip flights were delayed due to inefficiencies within the United grounds crew. Initially, the crew mistakenly loaded incorrect equipment into the cargo hold, resulting in over an hour delay of the arrival flight. This disruption completely derailed our ground transportation plans to visit my girlfriend and me's sick grandpa in the hospital. On the return flight, a deflated wheel on the plane was only noticed by the grounds crew right before takeoff, even though the issue could have been addressed during the hours the aircraft spent at the gate. This second delay not only impacted our return flight but also caused unreasonable delays at baggage claim, leading us to miss our bus home.

I received one of the suitcases on December 30th at 9:30 pm. Suitcase number [redacted] under the name BOSIO ANTONIO was delivered, but the other suitcase with ID [redacted] under the name LILIANA PASQUALI, containing medications and important items, was not delivered. I kindly request the recovery of this suitcase and assurance of its prompt delivery. The inconvenience caused by this delay has been significant, requiring multiple trips to the airport. Additionally, I seek reimbursement for expenses incurred purchasing clothes, shoes, and medications. As my return trip includes a short layover in Washington, I will not have time to address these matters at that point. I eagerly await your prompt response. Thank you. Best regards, L.P./B.A.

I recently flew with United and experienced a delay in receiving my baggage which took 7 days to arrive. I submitted a luggage claim and was given authorization to make necessary purchases. Now that my trip has concluded, I am unsure of where to seek reimbursement for these items. When attempting to fill out the online form, I encountered difficulties as the questions asked do not apply to my situation. Despite multiple attempts to reach an operator through chat, the long wait times and frequent disconnections have hindered my progress in resolving this matter.

Hello, I encountered some issues while traveling from Montreal to Australia with United Airlines on November 28, [redacted]. There was a plane change to Air Canada, and we arrived late by 45 minutes in Los Angeles, causing us to miss the connecting flight to Australia. We had to spend 24 hours in Los Angeles waiting for the next flight and I couldn't find my luggage. I had to pay for food for dinner, breakfast, and lunch. My assistant left me alone without anyone to help, and as I don't speak English, I was struggling. I needed food and water to take my medication. Eventually, I continued the journey with Qantas Airlines and reached Australia on December 1 instead of November 30. I received my luggage after 48 hours on December 3, [redacted]. This delay caused me to arrive a day later without my medication or clothes. My cousin in Australia contacted me to inquire about my unexpected stay in Los Angeles and spoke with the airport customer service in English as I couldn't. Additionally, my cellphone bill increased by $[redacted] Canadian dollars.

My daughter, Ann-Katrin Kanal, and her boyfriend, Manuel Huber, traveled from Zurich to Panama City via London and New York on December 25th. Unfortunately, their luggage did not arrive with them in Panama as it was still in Zurich. They have contacted United Airlines' Help Desk multiple times, and two claims were opened for their belongings (PTY26882M and PTY26884M). One bag arrived on December 28th, but the other did not arrive until January 1st. My daughter, the owner of the delayed luggage, is seeking compensation of over USD 1,[redacted] for expenses incurred during the seven days (such as phone calls, clothing, toiletries, etc.). We would appreciate guidance on the next steps to secure this compensation and how it will be provided. Thank you for your assistance and prompt response.

I flew from Newark to Guatemala last night for a medical mission, but my luggage, containing important supplies and hospital attire, was delayed. I've been trying to reach customer support via text and call, but they require a reference number, which I never received. My baggage tag number is [redacted], and it's on Flight UA257 from Houston to Guatemala. I want to update my shipping address to Chabad Guatemala - 5 Avenida Sur 38 Antigua Guatemala. I need my luggage urgently; it was scheduled to arrive at 7pm in Guatemala but was delayed until 10:58pm. I'm waiting for confirmation on this. If needed, I'm willing to go to the airport to retrieve it, but I need assurance that I can collect it without issues. Dealing with this for almost 2 days has been frustrating, and I don't want to waste more time if there will be complications at the airport.

During my trip from Vienna to Mexico, only 2 out of my 4 pieces of luggage made it to the destination, causing a delay of 7 days for the missing luggage. This led to additional expenses of approximately [redacted] euros for clothing and cosmetics for 2 passengers. Furthermore, incorrect information led to taxi expenses of 70 euros and telephone charges amounting to [redacted] euros. To add to the inconvenience, my return flight was delayed due to a plane malfunction, causing me to miss connecting flights. I am willing to provide all receipts detailing the expenses incurred, including records of the phone calls made to your airline.

I don't remember ever setting up security questions to buy tickets using My Mileage. The first question asked about the color of the house, but I lived in four different places in Brooklyn, NY from ages 5 to 21 and never owned a house. That question doesn't make sense for me as it was 60 years ago. I eventually found my password, but couldn't proceed. I just want to be able to use my account.

My parents' previously booked award travel itinerary had a flight cancellation notification for UA902 from Japan to Hawaii. Despite United's reservation stating there were no partner flight options available within a week, upon further review, seats were still open but not for reward tickets with partner airlines. The proposed alternative included a transfer in SFO, extending the trip to 18 hours from the original 7-hour duration. Given my senior parents' preference for shorter travel times and the impact on my hotel reservation in Hawaii, where a late check-in would result in the forfeiture of my non-refundable $[redacted] reservation, this proposed solution is far from ideal. The flight cancellation reason still remains unclear, ruling out weather-related issues. While attempting to secure a straightforward point A to B flight, the lack of cooperation from United's reservation team has made the situation incredibly frustrating. Despite my father's lengthy loyalty as a 1k member, we are left navigating this predicament with no satisfactory resolution in sight after spending over an hour on the phone with the unhelpful reservation team and their supervisor. This unexpected hurdle has marred our excitement for this well-deserved vacation, leaving much to be desired in terms of customer service from United.
