I believe I am contacting USCIS customer service. Initially, I was scheduled for a naturalization oath ceremony on Thursday, December 16, [redacted], at 12 PM. Hello, my mother spent a total of 8 months traveling during her 5-year journey to naturalization. Even while she was overseas, she continued working in the USA. I am her son, handling her citizenship application, and I have not left the country during this time. I am now required to provide a form to address the residency rule issue. How can I demonstrate that she was earning income in the USA while being abroad to resolve this residency matter?

I recently received my Employment Authorization Card on 08/06/[redacted] after applying for employment authorization. However, I have not yet received my SSN card despite applying for it along with the EAD. I contacted the SSN office in Ann Arbor, MI, and they submitted a new application on 09/07/[redacted]. Even after several months, I am still waiting for my social security number. When I reach out to the Social Security office, I am informed that it is pending verification. This delay is causing issues as recruiters are requesting my SSN for employment purposes. Despite explaining my situation to them, I am not getting any callbacks. Any assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I submitted my application for renewing my employment authorization in June [redacted]. I received the approval letter in October [redacted], but my Employment Authorization Document (EAD) card did not arrive even though the USPS tracking number shows it was delivered. USPS was unable to confirm the delivery and provided an apology letter. I need a replacement for the lost EAD card. USCIS does not specify how to address a lost card without reapplying or paying the fee again, causing delays. Contacting the USCIS customer center did not yield any assistance. I have lost my job as a result. I am requesting expedited processing for a replacement EAD card. I can provide the USPS apology letter and documents from my employer as needed for support. Best, A.B.

I am writing to share that my PETITION FOR ALIEN RELATIVE (I-[redacted]) was approved on June 9, [redacted]. According to the official notice received by mail, the petition has been approved, and I will be notified separately when a decision is made on my pending adjustment of status application (I-[redacted]). However, I have not received the step-by-step instructions or relevant documentation to apply for adjustment of status. My husband and I are currently residing in the United States, and I need guidance on whether we are eligible to apply for adjustment of status through USCIS. I have already reached out to the national visa center, and they advised me to apply for AOS directly through USCIS. Could you please provide me with an update on the application status and advise on the next steps in the process? Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, TL

Hello, I'm Alexander Bakare, and I applied for a work authorization renewal with USCIS, receiving an extension that has now expired on the 26th of this month. I was recently separated from my job at the Texas Department of Correctional Justice and missed out on a new opportunity in Nebraska due to the expired authorization. I've been struggling to get assistance from customer service and urgently need to know the status of my new work authorization to support my family. My USCIS receipt number is IOE[redacted], filed on May 06, [redacted]. Any help in providing an update or estimated arrival date for the new work authorization would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - A. Bakare

Dear Sir/Madam, I work for the Department of State in Iran. After careful planning, I have left the country and am currently seeking asylum. I will arrive in Delhi by 2 p.m. today, January 31. Once I obtain a local SIM card, I will contact you. Please help set up an interview for me with U.S. officials to present my case. Time is of the essence as I must report back to Tehran by Wednesday morning or face consequences. I greatly appreciate your urgent assistance. Sincerely, [redacted]

Hello, my name is Roseline N. I sponsored my mother, Elmita C., for her green card more than three years ago, but she has not received it yet. Immigration informed me that it was sent to the wrong address despite my request for an address change. We submitted two applications for a replacement but have not received a new one. I am seeking guidance on the specific steps we need to take to ensure my mother receives her green card. Thank you.

I am currently in the US on an L2 visa along with my spouse, who holds an L1A visa. We arrived in the US on November 8, [redacted]. I didn't apply for an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) because of the USCIS policy memorandum issued on November 10, [redacted], which stated that E and L dependent spouses are authorized to work incident to their status without needing an EAD. USCIS and CBP were given [redacted] days to update the Form I-94 for L and E spouses for work authorization. Despite this, my I-94 still shows my status as L2 instead of L2-S, unlike L1 dependent spouses who entered the US after January 31, [redacted]. They have already started receiving the updated L2-S status on their I-94s without applying for an EAD. I am requesting assistance to update my I-94 status to L2-S promptly so that I can commence working. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am troubled by the extensive delay in processing my case by the USCIS field office from October 23, [redacted], to February 4, [redacted]. Despite assurances from the USCIS Chief to provide a resolution within 30 working days, it has now been 37 working days, and I am left feeling ignored. As a [redacted]% disabled American veteran, I find the treatment discouraging. It is disheartening to see more recent applications being processed ahead of mine, especially when I am a serviceman who dedicated a part of my life to the country. Attempts to reach out for assistance have proven futile as the automated system does not connect me to a live representative, making the experience even more frustrating.

I am looking to submit Form I-90 online through my USCIS account to renew the resident cards for two individuals, one of whom is a 10-year-old minor. I am having difficulty finding where to submit the application for the minor as the USCIS account only allows for one application to be filled out. Additionally, I have some questions regarding certain sections of the form: 1. I cannot locate the "my profile" tab to find my USCIS online account number. 2. The form asks for my mother's/father's first name without specifying a last name. Should I just input first names like "Alice"? 3. The question asks if the individual entered the US with an immigrant visa. In this case, the applicant initially entered on a tourist visa and later obtained residency through embassy-provided documentation allowing first entry as a resident. Would answering "Yes" be correct based on this scenario, considering they are unsure of the specific name of the document provided?

I am Laiba Faheem, an international student in Fresno, California. In [redacted], I lost my passport and obtained a new one from my embassy in Fresno. Unfortunately, the new passport does not contain my student visa obtained before entering the USA. Despite visiting the immigration office in Fresno, they directed me to the international office at my university. However, the university's international office explained they can only provide I-20 forms to international students, not visas on passports. They advised that only the immigration office can assist with the student visa on the passport. I have tried contacting the immigration office but have had no luck reaching a person. The automated virtual assistant disconnects the call. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue and obtain the student visa on my passport. I possess all the necessary documentation. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

My name is Laiba Faheem, an international student studying in Fresno, California. I lost my passport in [redacted] and obtained a new passport from my country's consulate in Fresno. Unfortunately, the new passport does not include the US Student Visa I had prior to my arrival in the USA. After visiting both the immigration office in Fresno and the international office at my university, I was directed back to the immigration officials for assistance with reissuing the student visa. Despite my efforts to contact the immigration office by phone, I have been unsuccessful in reaching a live person for help. I am looking to resolve this issue promptly as I plan to visit my parents during the summer and have all the necessary documentation. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Laiba Faheem

I have dual nationality with both a Malaysian and US passport. I plan to travel to the US for a quick holiday but need advice on which passport to use for entry and exit in each country. I am concerned about not having the proper stamps in my Malaysian passport if I use my US passport when entering the US. On the other hand, using only my US passport for the entire trip might raise suspicion when returning to Malaysia about my length of stay. Any suggestions on how to navigate this situation would be greatly appreciated.

I have recently moved to [redacted] Pangborn Blvd AptG in Hagerstown, MD [redacted], but at the time of application, I was living at [redacted] Little Elliott Dr Apt7 in Hagerstown, MD [redacted]. After applying, I received a letter from USCIS confirming the receipt of my renewal application, granting a [redacted]-day extension on my employment authorization. However, I have not yet received my new employment authorization card, and as of March 7, [redacted], I am without official employment authorization. Despite checking my mailbox daily, the card has not arrived. I have tried reaching out to customer service multiple times, but have been unable to speak with a representative. Please provide me with an update on the status of my EAD. Thank you.

My customer's case number is SDO[redacted]. The petitioner, her husband, followed all the necessary steps for his wife's and daughter's petition. It should be noted that the attorney who filed the petition has passed away, and my customer's husband, the petitioner, was never informed. As a result, they did not receive any notices regarding this case. After thorough investigation by the petitioner, they obtained a notice from the U.S. Department Immigrant Visa Application Center stating that the case had expired. Until that day, they had been awaiting an appointment from the U.S. Consulate in the Dominican Republic. I am requesting for the case to be reopened due to the lack of information provided to them by the U.S. Embassy in the Dominican Republic. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am browsing the USCIS website to understand the process of sponsoring a refugee from Ukraine. She is currently in Slovakia with a close acquaintance of mine for 11 years who wishes to come live with me. Despite the announcement of allowing [redacted],[redacted] refugees by the President, there seems to be no concrete plan in place. I am willing to start the standard process, but I feel frustrated as I expected a smoother procedure considering I am ready to sponsor her and have all the necessary information. I am unsure if I should begin with her applying for a visa and then filing a petition. I am seeking guidance on the correct steps and paperwork required. Should I wait for an official plan from Biden or proceed regardless? I am contemplating reaching out to my state representative Brian Fitzpatrick, with whom I am already in contact through Kevin Bongarzone, a Constituent Advocate. I hope you can assist me in navigating through this process.

Receipt #: IOE-09-[redacted]2 I received notifications both electronically and on paper that my Employment Authorization Card was sent out in mid-March. Despite this, I received an email stating that the card was returned to USCIS due to a delivery address issue. I have not changed my address since sending in my Green Card Application. I requested a resend through my USCIS online account but was informed that my address didn't match their records, prompting me to update it online. I tried to update my address, only to realize that the new address I entered was identical to the old one on file. I need help from an officer to fix this address problem manually.

Subject: Lack of Confirmation or Response for Submitted Documents Dear Sir/Madam, I hope you are doing well. I am writing to address my concern regarding the lack of confirmation or response after submitting my SIV package as requested by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Nebraska Service Center. As per their instructions, I sent the required documents to [redacted] on Jan,06,[redacted], following the COM approval received on Jan/03/[redacted]. Regrettably, I have not received any acknowledgment or automatic response since then, which is causing me considerable stress and anxiety, especially given my history of working with the US military in Afghanistan for the past 20 years. I would greatly appreciate your urgent attention to this matter. Warm regards, Najmullah Malikzada NVCSIV[redacted]

Subject: Help Needed with I-[redacted] Application Status I submitted my I-[redacted] form for a Nonimmigrant Status extension/change and received a receipt number: MCT[redacted]. Following the provided instructions, I anticipated a maximum 45-day processing time with no errors. However, as of April 28th, this timeframe has passed without an update on my application after completing biometrics in Harleysville on April 13th as arranged by USCIS. Concerned about my impending return flight to Finland on May 5th, scheduled for 18:30, I am unsure of receiving a decision in time. To manage my travel plans accordingly, I must notify AA/Finnair at least 48 hours prior to departure on May 5th in the afternoon if I am granted the extension. Failure to do so will result in the loss of my paid ticket, necessitating the purchase of a new one for a later date in August. Your assistance regarding the status of my application would be greatly appreciated.
