I am in the process of switching to Xfinity for Internet and TV. I have a Seiki TV model LC 55TD5 with the serial number [redacted]53. I managed to partially pair the Xfinity Remote with the Seiki TV, but it does not fully control it. After contacting Xfinity customer service and troubleshooting with a tech, we were unable to get all functions working on the Xfinity Remote. The Xfinity tech suggested that there might be a setting on the Seiki TV preventing the full pairing, particularly for power on/off, volume control, and selecting TV input. The original Seiki remote works fine for these functions. I am seeking assistance in adjusting the Seiki TV settings to enable the Xfinity Remote to control all functions successfully. My Roku suddenly stopped functioning, and now the screen is frozen on "please run channel auto scan," even after completing the scan. Unfortunately, I am unable to perform other actions as I lack the remote control. Even after scanning, I cannot change the source or do anything else. I cannot find a phone number to contact customer service, only automated options online. I wish there was a way to reach a live person for assistance.

I've encountered an issue with my TV, which is less than 1 1/2 years old and has been problematic for the past 8 months. I had pre-ordered and received a new remote that initially solved the problem, but it has resurfaced. Even after unplugging the TV for a few days, it still won't turn on, which is usually a temporary fix. The TV does not have any physical buttons, so I'm reliant on the remote. I'm wondering if there was a manufacturing issue with certain units.
