Order Confirmation – Norton Hello Thelma S., I received Order Number NP[redacted] for $21.64 has been successfully processed. Your order details are securely saved in your NortonLifeLock account. I recently made this payment as I do not authorize any company to withdraw from my account. This purchase covers the remainder of [redacted] and all of [redacted]. I am quite upset after receiving a threatening email from Norton, as I always pay before my subscription ends. No company is allowed to automatically debit from my account without my approval. If I had not already paid the amount requested, I would cancel my Norton subscription. --- Dear Thelma S., Greetings from Norton! We appreciate your ongoing support as a member of Windows Defender Protection. Your Annual Maintenance Service for 24 months with Windows Defender Protection is expiring on September 15, [redacted]. Please note that your account with Norton- Windows Defender is set to auto-renew. An amount of $[redacted].99 will be deducted from your account, with the transaction reflecting on your account statement within 8 hours. Order ID: FW[redacted] Amount: $[redacted].00 Service Tax/Charges: $35.99 Total: $[redacted].99 I find this amount completely unreasonable and will not authorize such a deduction. Please refrain from debiting my account without my explicit consent.

I am experiencing issues with Norton [redacted] as it is not connecting to the internet. Despite having to uninstall and reinstall it once already within a week of purchasing, I am encountering a similar problem again now. This has become frustrating as the program was working well until recently. As a full-time online student, I cannot afford to spend time troubleshooting this. I would appreciate it if this issue could be fixed promptly. Otherwise, I may have to seek an alternative solution or request a refund if necessary. I hope for a resolution soon, as the product is currently not meeting my expectations. Thank you. - Julia H.

I am experiencing issues with an unsecured network named TPLinkExt2_2G-4G that is causing interference with my Assurance Wireless phone. Whenever I insert my SIM card, the network somehow connects to my phone without my consent. To prevent further hacking, I have to ensure my TV is turned off and then promptly remove the SIM card from my phone to stop the unauthorized access. This situation is concerning, and I am looking for a solution to resolve this security breach quickly.

Today, I received a suspicious email claiming to be from Norton Anti-Virus, though I don't have a Norton account. The email had misspellings and asked for payment information. The email also included an Invoice ID: #[redacted]S and referenced an order no/Reference no – #36-[redacted]1D.

I am seeking assistance due to a challenging situation. I have been facing issues in maintaining my Norton memberships as my partner interferes with them regularly using funds from my Social Security. I appreciate the professionalism of the customer service representatives when I call for help. It's reassuring that they ask for my permission to proceed with sharing personal and financial information knowing someone might be listening in. Despite feeling anxious, I provide the necessary details as my partner has access to my information through spy apps on my phone. I kindly request immediate assistance to ensure the new Norton package is installed correctly on my devices. Your support is crucial to me during this time. I value my privacy and confidentiality, especially regarding sensitive matters about my partner. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am facing difficulty signing in as my phone was compromised and I had to get a new one for security. Now, I can't update my account because I'm being prompted for a 2-step verification code that is being sent to the old, compromised phone. This is extremely frustrating as I need to update my phone number on the account but I'm unable to do so. I've tried to seek help via telephone or chat on the website but haven't had any success. This situation is leaving me very dissatisfied.

I received an email regarding the renewal of my Norton Anti-Virus Protection, but the call-back number provided seems to be invalid. I want to clarify that I did not authorize any charges and do not wish to continue this service. I would appreciate it if the company could refrain from charging my account and investigate this matter further to identify the impersonator. Thank you.

I have received 5 emails from different individuals claiming to be Norton Antivirus, stating various amounts totaling $1,[redacted].49 for antivirus renewal. To verify the validity, I contacted my credit card companies to confirm no unauthorized charges were made. The suspicious nature of these messages leads me to believe it is a scam. I am willing to forward the emails to you to investigate further. The emails contain names, email addresses, phone numbers, and a request for a refund by contacting "Refund & Settlement" with different phone numbers listed. These numbers do not match those officially associated with Norton Antivirus, suggesting a potential scam.

Yesterday, on 11/22/22, I reached out to Norton sales to inquire about my account status. After a lengthy wait, I spoke with a person named Paul. I explained my query, and he immediately suggested scanning my system, which I agreed to. Throughout the process, I could observe the scan. Upon completion, he mentioned that someone else might have been using my system. Following a few more waits, the last one lasting about 30 minutes, he shared a story of someone getting scammed for $[redacted]. Subsequently, Paul informed me that I have basic Norton [redacted] and proposed upgrading to the advanced version for either 3 years at $[redacted] or 5 years at $[redacted]. Although the costs were shown as annual amounts, he was evasive when questioned about the payment frequency. I informed him that I needed time to consider and would visit the website to decide. Paul insisted that I could only make the upgrade during that call and not online. The conversation left me feeling uneasy and suspicious, leaning towards seeking alternatives due to the unprofessional nature of the discussion. Thank you for your understanding.

I recently noticed a charge of £94.99 from Norton on 29/11 on my bank statement. I do not recall subscribing to this service, but I believe it might have been set up using the bank account I had shared with my ex-husband up until [redacted]. Unfortunately, my ex-husband passed away this year, and I am unable to verify any details with him. Could you please check if there was an account set up before [redacted]? My name is Janet R. and my ex-husband's name was Philip. Since it was a joint account, it's possible he may have initiated this subscription. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this as it is a significant amount for a service that is not being utilized. Thank you.

I received a suspicious phone call claiming to be from your company indicating a renewal charge of $[redacted].94 on my account. When I called the number provided (1-[redacted]), I was directed to a cancellation department where they were unable to provide any account details or payment information. They insisted that I download a program onto my computer to secure a refund due to an insecure connection. The persistent callers made it difficult to disconnect without further contact.
