Golden Corral Customer Service Issues

During our meal, my husband discovered a large piece of black rubber tubing in his sweet potatoes. We promptly informed a waiter, who brought a supervisor to our table. Unfortunately, the supervisor dismissed our concerns and was condescending. I tried again when another waiter pointed out the owner, and I expressed my complaint. The owner was even ruder, suggesting that we were at fault for continuing to eat. We were so upset that we couldn't even finish our meal. A restaurant that neglects food quality is not just unsanitary but also hazardous. At the very least, they should have offered us a voucher for a free meal.

When I approached the counter, the foreign woman asked if she could assist me. I requested four $25 gift cards and the complimentary $10 ones. After she processed the transaction, I handed her $[redacted], which she placed in the register. The receipts printed, and she handed them to me along with the cards. Upon trying to use one of the cards, she mentioned they couldn't be used until January and insisted I owed $[redacted]. I explained that I had already paid, leading to the manager's intervention. I explained the situation to him, and he discovered the missing $[redacted] in the register where the cashier had placed it. Despite her initial claim that I owed money, the manager confirmed that I had indeed paid, as the money was found in the register where it was placed by the cashier.
