I recently got a new phone and when I tried to log into my Facebook account using the password I had saved, it said my password was changed 11 months ago. I attempted to reset my password, but it's trying to send the verification to an email I haven't used in around 10 years. I've tried accessing that email, but each time it says I haven't provided enough information to verify the account, possibly because I don't remember any previous passwords due to the account being created a long time ago. I've visited facebook.com/login/identify, but I still can't gain access as the email is no longer accessible. I've been using my Facebook account for a long time and really want to avoid starting over. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I received a notification from Facebook about someone logging into my account from Vietnam last week. Despite trying repeatedly to address the issue, I ended up deleting my original account and creating a new one with similar information but using a different email. Whenever I attempt to log in to the old account, it says my Apple XR phone is unrecognized, even though I have been using it to access Facebook for the past three years. The methods to recover my account seem to have been altered, asking to contact me via a phone number I don't receive messages from, and sending information to an unknown email address different from my original one ([redacted]). I have important data stored on my old account that I wish to retrieve. Can someone please assist me in recovering it? Thank you.

I am concerned about why my account was locked by Facebook. They mentioned that I posted content related to child exploitation, which I strongly deny. I am a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with a loving family. I am deeply disturbed by these accusations and intend to resolve this issue as I believe them to be false. I am a dedicated Facebook user who shares many photos, including memories of deceased loved ones. It is incredibly distressing to be accused of something so serious and untrue. Around 4 hours ago, my Facebook account was hacked. Initially, I received an email notifying me that the primary email on my account was changed. Shortly after, I received a verification code that I did not request. Subsequently, I got an email indicating that a new device had logged into my account. Without my permission, my password was changed, and my original email address was removed. At that point, I started taking measures to address the issue. I have reported the hacked account, but I am unable to proceed further because every time I attempt to recover it, Facebook requires verification through an email to the primary email on the account. However, since that email was changed without my consent, I no longer have access to my account. Additionally, I cannot use a device where I was previously logged in, as I mainly used my phone, which does not seem to be working for this recovery process. I still have access to my original email address and know my original password. Facebook recognizes this password, yet I am stuck in a recovery loop due to the compromised/fake email address. I need assistance with my new Melissa Madnezz artist page. I am unable to send friend requests. I have been part of the music community for a while, and I currently have a Melissa Montiel account. I want to migrate all my friends, fans, and family to my music page. However, I keep receiving a pop-up message stating that I do not know the person I am trying to add. Despite knowing many people in the industry, I am facing this issue. It seems I have both a regular Facebook account and an artist page under Melissa Madnezz. Before I transition everyone over to the artist page, I want to ensure I am using the correct account. My stage name, Melissa Madnezz, is in the process of being trademarked by the United States Trademark office. Once this is finalized, I need to have any Facebook issues resolved.

Hello, I am having trouble accessing my Facebook account under the name Mirela Mirčy. Two weeks ago, my smartphone broke, and although it is still functional, the screen display is not working. I purchased a new smartphone but have been unable to log in to my account. I forgot my password and the option to recover it via SMS is not possible as I no longer have that phone number's SIM card. In attempting to resolve this, I mistakenly created a new account under the name Lav Štekerica, thinking it would help me recover my original account, Mirela Mirčy. I am currently using the phone number +[redacted]31 to access the account Lav Štekerica, which is now associated with my new account. Every time I try to access my original account, Mirela Mirčy, it seems impossible. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide to help me regain access to my account. Hello, I need assistance with recovering my Facebook account. The issue arose when I attempted to update my email address from [redacted] to [redacted] Changing my email became urgent as I can no longer access my original one because it is linked to a phone number under 2-step verification that I no longer have access to. The previous phone number was [redacted], and my new one is [redacted]. When I tried to change the email, the system logged me out and requested verification of my identity. I selected the "send verification to email" option, not realizing it would be sent to my old email, to which I no longer have access. The alternative was to verify through comments I posted, but that page is not loading on my phone or this borrowed laptop. I find it concerning that all other websites load fine, but Facebook does not. I have been able to access my new Gmail account, schedule a COVID test at CVS, and conduct various Google searches. After being offline for two days, I discovered multiple emails from Facebook. Someone had attempted to change my password and then impersonated a famous person, resulting in my account being disabled. Despite following Facebook's help links, submitting my security details, and lodging a protest, my account remains disabled. I changed my password, but Facebook didn't save it. Every time I try to access my account, it logs me out for suspicious activity. Although I uploaded my ID before, they are now rejecting it. I am seeking assistance from Facebook to regain access to my account, have my ID documents accepted, and speak to a real person at Facebook to explain the situation.

I've had my Facebook account for about 12 years. Recently, I mistakenly clicked on a second account that I never use, dating back a few years. On April 16th, I received a message on messenger from a friend requesting help with their account. They asked me to share a code that was sent to me, which I did. Later that day, my cousin informed me that my account had been hacked. When I attempted to recover my account, I kept being directed to the unused account. Despite various attempts using Google, text messages, and email codes, I am unable to access my main account. It seems the hacker changed the password and now has access to my contacts and messenger. I need assistance to stop being redirected to the unused account. I tried deleting it, but the process takes 30 days, and I am constantly redirected to it.

I recently received a message notifying me that my password was changed without my consent on a Samsung Galaxy S10 device, which I do not own. To verify my identity, I submitted my driver's license to Facebook, and they sent a code to my email address, [redacted] However, when I attempted to log in using my usual ID, Facebook claimed the code was invalid. Therefore, I tried logging in using the email address [redacted], which is not associated with my account but Facebook has on record for contacting me. It seems that Facebook is sending the code to the email address linked to the account that I cannot access. I kindly request Facebook to update my account to use [redacted] so I can receive the code to reset my password. My Facebook contacts include Ullmann, which is my family name, as reflected on my license and email address. I am the creator of the account. Currently, Facebook does not recognize my email when I attempt to log in. Please change the login email to [redacted] and the mobile number to [redacted] for me to receive the reset code. Thank you.

Hello, I am currently experiencing issues with my Instagram account due to a software error. I cannot find a way to contact a support representative to help me with this matter. According to the notification, my account is blocked because of a password security concern. To regain access, I am prompted to change the password, but I have forgotten my current password and attempts to reset it have been unsuccessful. When I try to reset the password, I receive a link that opens the app, where I am blocked from access. This account is crucial for my business, so I urgently request assistance to rectify this issue. I believe there may be a flaw in the censorship mechanism used by Instagram as it seems to be causing unintended consequences. Hello, I am reaching out about my Facebook and Instagram accounts that were hacked on 03/15/[redacted]. Unable to access them, I am especially concerned about losing access to my company's page. I submitted a verification request on 03/18/22, providing my ID card as requested for verification within an estimated 1-day period. Sadly, no progress has been made, and as of two days ago, my accounts have been permanently deactivated without verification. It is disheartening to lose my 14-year-old accounts without the chance to recover them, considering I was a victim of a hacking incident. I am experiencing difficulties due to a continuous loop with my Facebook account. The issue arose from the two-step verification process, which now prevents me from accessing my account or deleting it. Initially, I disabled two-step verification due to the inconvenience of locating the code within the mobile app. Despite reactivating it later, I did not receive the necessary SMS code to complete the process. Subsequently, I found myself logged out of both the app and the computer, unable to regain access due to the persistent two-step verification requests. Despite attempting to reset my password, I remain unable to login without the two-step code. According to the GDPR laws, I have the right to have my profile deleted, but the inability to login hinders this process. I have reached out to Facebook for assistance via their challenging to locate support page, but have not received a response since my initial message on March 30, [redacted], followed by two subsequent messages to the provided case-specific email address ending in @support.facebook.com. I seek assistance in either deleting my account through Facebook's intervention or resolving the login issue to delete it myself.

I am encountering an issue trying to log in even though I remember my password. Facebook requires login approval by sending a code to my email address, but the email provider has ceased operations. This has left me stuck as the account is not connected to my phone number. Although my account is not blocked, I am unable to pass the login approval stage. It would be helpful if there were alternative methods to verify my identity or change the email address. Currently, I am only offered the option of sending a code to the inactive email address for recovery purposes.

I have been struggling for more than five years to recover access to my old Facebook account, which holds precious photos of my late father. I am unable to access the email or phone number associated with the account, and I suspect it was hacked because the login details (email, phone number, and password) have been changed without my knowledge. I can provide my government-issued ID, old password, and a previously linked recovery email that has since been removed, along with a Facebook security email confirming the removal of the recovery email. Despite successfully using my ID for access in the past, I am not currently given the option to do so. This account is of utmost importance to me and my family, and any assistance in regaining access would be sincerely appreciated.

I'm not very tech-savvy, and on my recent birthday (April 17), I didn't want people to see how old I was, so I tried to hide my birth year on Facebook. However, as I picked the current year, it mistakenly made me seem too young for the platform. My actual birthday is on 4/17/[redacted], making me 69 years old. I've never had issues with Facebook before despite my lack of understanding about these matters. I've submitted my driver's license three times to verify my age, but it keeps coming back saying I'm disputing the decision. I encountered an issue while trying to access my Facebook account using Samsung Pass. When I attempted to log in, it rejected my password as old, even though I rarely log out. I then attempted the forgot password option but was faced with unfamiliar recovery choices like logging in with Messenger or using an unknown email address. I had no access to any of my recovery options. Additionally, the profile picture displayed was mine, but when I entered my phone number, it said the account was not found. I suspect my account may have been compromised, as I couldn't access it and details like email, phone, and password seemed altered on the Facebook app. I confirmed the app was updated but couldn't start a chat without entering my account. Creating a new account just to contact Facebook support seems inconvenient.
