I am Joseph L. from New Jersey, and I drive a [redacted] Hyundai Venue with NJ plate number M43 MVG. On March 7th, my account balance was $[redacted]. I misplaced my tag back in December and requested a new one due to some violations and administrative fees of $50 each for toll charges. Despite paying $50 recently and being informed of no further violations, I continue to be charged for tolls I did not incur post-March 7th. I paid in cash since the new tag was ineffective. I received another threatening letter today about permanent account revocation. I wish to close the account and prefer paying tolls in cash. The EZ Pass NJ Newark office has unjustly debited my account for replenishments without consent, causing distress. The lack of cooperation, understanding, and empathy from the clerks there is unsettling. I seek assistance to resolve these issues promptly as a law-abiding 69-year-old resident of NJ who has always been responsible with payments.

Re: Violation #T[redacted]73-01 The Bell & Siren Club, a 501C(3) organization supporting Newark and other Essex County Fire Departments, previously used Bloomfield FD for EZ Pass billing. On 5/13, while en route to an NJ Division of Fire Safety approved drill, our EZPass transponder did not register, resulting in a violation notice. We were unaware of any transponder issues prior to this incident and are investigating the cause. We kindly request a waiver of the $50.00 administrative fee and to only be billed $4.90 for the toll. We appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter positively.

I have noticed that my car's license plate number has been wrongly charged at the toll camera on D95 four times in the past six months, with a $4.00 fee each time. Despite disputing the first instance successfully, subsequent claims were denied. Now, two more charges have appeared on my statement, all from the same toll location, which I don't use. I request to see a photo of the vehicle passing through with the incorrect plate number which belongs to a [redacted] blue Subaru, not my car. Thank you. - N. B., Maryland

Dear EZpass Customer Service, I received an NJ EZpass violation notice on 7/6/[redacted], for case #T[redacted][redacted] dated 06/20/21. My wife and I used EZpass on the NJ PW all weekend without any issues. I would appreciate it if EZpass could investigate this situation, as we always have our EZpass signal detector in our car when using the PW or NJ Turnpike. It seems there may have been an error with the sensor/signal or your equipment. Kindly resolve this matter promptly and inform us of the issue's cause and resolution. We are eager to hear from you. Regards, Claire and Michael G. 4 Victoria Court Cranford, NJ [redacted] [redacted]

During my trip to NJ from May 13 to May 25, I encountered issues at two toll booths where only correct change lanes were operational. I ended up without change and no one to assist at the booth. I sent checks for the violations and disputed them. After speaking with EZ Pass on 7/7 and being reassured that the two violations were settled, I received another bill recently for an additional administrative fee. The violation number is T[redacted]74-01, and the plate number is Y72YBW from Florida. I have been on hold for over an hour across two days trying to resolve this matter. Your assistance in looking into this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am disputing the $50 additional charge from a collection agency that I received on July 20, [redacted]. On April 19, [redacted], DCH Ford of Eatontown replaced the transmission of my Ford F-[redacted]. The driver who returned my truck to my home mistakenly used a toll road assuming an EZ Pass was in the vehicle, which I never had. Despite being reassured by the DCH Ford of Eatontown employees that they would cover the $1.90 toll fee, it seems they did not. I sent a check (#[redacted]) dated June 11, [redacted], to EZPass to cover the toll, which has been cashed. Today, I received a letter from an attorney claiming I owe an extra $50, which I am disputing as I already appealed and paid the original toll. For further communication, please reach me at [redacted] or email me at [redacted]. The Plate #NJ E39NAV for the Ford F-[redacted] is associated with Acct # T[redacted]11 under Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP.

A few months back, following a car accident, my EZPass account was rendered inactive. Despite having set up automatic withdrawals for toll payments prior to the unfortunate incident, the system began showing a low balance alert recently. I confirmed sufficient funds in my account, suspecting a technical glitch. Unfortunately, attempts to reach customer service for assistance were futile as calls went unreturned. Subsequently, I received two violations by mail. I am perplexed as my card was previously linked to the account in person. I am seeking assistance in resolving these violations promptly. I am prepared to re-link my card to prevent any reoccurrence and would genuinely appreciate help in addressing this matter today. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

I recently received an email informing me that my account is in negative standing with the account number [redacted]. I am having trouble accessing my account details on the NJ EZ-PASS online service using the provided account number and my zip code. Although I maintain a NY EZ-Pass account, I believe I may have registered for an EZ-Pass account in NJ on the NJ Turnpike in the past. However, I have not actively used the account, never received any bills, nor do I possess a transponder. I am willing to settle any outstanding balance, but I need assistance since I have not been contacted about this matter before. I kindly request guidance on how to resolve this issue promptly. Thank you, J.S. Email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted]

I needed to travel from Phillipsburg, NJ, to Easton, PA. Initially, Google Maps showed the toll as $1. However, upon arriving and seeing a $3 toll sign, I couldn't turn back. I only had $1, so the toll taker allowed me through and said a bill would be mailed. Now, receiving a $30 "violation" feels unjust. In the past, when short on money at toll booths, attendants have let me through on the honor system, and I always paid. This $30 charge seems excessive. "Violation" number: T[redacted]59-01. Steve M. [redacted] Barbara Dr. Coplay, PA [redacted].

I am contacting you regarding invoice numbers T[redacted]36 and T[redacted]38. When my boyfriend used his EZ Pass with my car in Atlantic City, we faced issues resolving this matter despite our efforts. We provided the necessary details but were still rejected. We are unsure which specific requirement was lacking. Paying an additional $[redacted] for using a PA EZ Pass in New Jersey seems unfair. We registered my license plate with PA EZ Pass and were advised to submit the information within 30 days to your team. However, determining the exact starting point of the 30-day period is unclear to us, as we followed the instructions provided by PA EZ Pass diligently.

I received a NJ Turnpike violation notice on 08/15/21. When I arrived, the toll booth was unattended. After waiting for almost 10 minutes, the attendant instructed me to proceed without paying, assuring me not to worry. Despite this, I later received a violation notice. I promptly contacted the authorities, who advised me to submit an appeal. However, when attempting to pay online, the system indicates that no violation or toll bill matches the entered information. My wife and I have made several unsuccessful attempts, as the attendant mentioned there might be an issue. It seems I received the notice in error. I have tried at least six times to resolve this but have been unsuccessful. Can this issue be rectified? Please reach out via phone or email if further clarification is needed. Thank you, S. Weiss.

I encountered considerable difficulty trying to obtain a paper for my window through the system. Despite speaking with a representative for assistance, it was still an arduous process. I am frustrated with the complexity of the Easy Pass system. I will await a bill from the state of Maryland for road usage, as dealing with cashless tolls seems more straightforward. The system's name, Easy Pass, feels misleading given the challenges faced. Wishing you a pleasant, albeit challenging day.

I recently received 12 violations by mail, which increased my total due to $[redacted].70. I made payments at the cash lane/full service, and I am confused as to why I was charged violations when there are cameras at the tolls. Shouldn't the cameras at the cash lane show that the tolls were paid? I am trying to dispute these charges, but I have been unsuccessful in getting through to customer service.

Good evening, I recently received a notice from a credit collections service dated 12/17/21 about a past due amount of $[redacted].10 for my NJ E-Z Pass incurred on 9/11 and 9/12. This is the first notice I've received regarding this balance from NJ E-Z Pass, and I promptly paid it to CCS upon receipt. It seems unjust to send me to collections without any prior communication, so I kindly request for this to be removed from collections. I can be contacted at [redacted] if needed. Thank you, and Happy Holidays, J. Mills

I recently received a violation notice with reference number T[redacted]33 dated 01/06/[redacted] for an incident on 12/17/[redacted] at toll plaza 10-[redacted] in Metuchen/Edison TWSP. The license plate involved is (PA) LKP6163, in lane 05w at 06:40:49, with a toll of $3.35 and an admin fee of $50.00. This is my first violation, and I was advised to dispute it. As I do not have an E-Z Pass account, I am requesting the waiver of the $50 administrative fee. I was traveling to the Medical Center in Edison to pick up my brother, who had been taken there by the local police while disoriented. The long-distance trip to Red Lion, PA, was unexpected and the information about the fees for tolls without an E-Z Pass account was not clear to me.

I need help with a NJ EZPass dispute. In September, I contacted NJ EZPass as my transponder wasn't working. They advised me to activate an inactive transponder as a replacement, assuring it would have the same commuter rates and deactivate my old one. I've been charged incorrectly by NJ EZPass on my Capital One Bank statement for the past six or 7 months. I attempted to resolve this twice with NJ EZPass customer service but received no help. I contacted NJ EZPass initially in November [redacted], expecting a refund for the overcharges. However, after further excessive charges, NJ EZPass stated the charges would stand. I'm willing to provide my Capital One Bank statements if needed. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I was recently terminated from my position at MMC Group under circumstances that I believe involved discrimination. I have evidence of the incident recorded on my voice recorder from before the conversation took place. I worked in the tag replacement department and was let go due to what I perceive as a minor disagreement. I feel that I was unjustly targeted and mistreated during my short time there. I am seeking to discuss this matter further and highlight additional instances where I believe I was unfairly treated. I would appreciate it if Joan Wilson could return my call promptly at [redacted] as I was dismissed from my job yesterday. There are several concerns I would like to address about the department's practices. While I have no intention of returning due to the issues in the facility, I feel it is important to address the wrongful termination especially considering my recent employment and responsibilities as a parent.

I am a resident of Ohio and recently traveled to New Jersey where I inadvertently ended up on a toll road. I only had a $[redacted] bill for a $2 toll, and the toll booth attendant couldn't provide change. They gave me a slip advising not to worry as most people don't pay the toll. Later, I sent the $2 along with a note explaining the situation by mail. However, I received a text from Credit Collection Services claiming I owed $52 due to a penalty for non-payment. I attempted to explain and offered to pay the original $2 toll, but they insisted on the full amount. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue via email and phone calls, they remain firm. I suspect a pattern in NJ toll collection practices. I am willing to pay the toll and even a little extra, but I cannot justify the excessive penalty. As my spouse is terminally ill and I am their caregiver, I urge for a fair resolution promptly. Thank you. In desperation, C.

To Whom it May Concern, I am writing to inquire about the status of the two EZpass tags I was supposed to receive for my vehicles. In May [redacted], I was informed that new tags would be sent to me, but as of today, August 23, [redacted], I have not received them. Despite my efforts to contact EZpass by phone, I have been unable to reach customer service and get any information about my tags. I hope to receive a prompt response from a member of the EZpass team regarding the whereabouts of my missing tags. Sincerely, Matthew Coppinger

My daughter received over $[redacted] in administrative charges from NJ EZ Pass. She is a mentally disabled individual. I make sure to pay all tolls promptly, but when a violation notice arrives, only the toll amount is sent, not the administrative fees. She is currently unemployed and relies on Medicaid for insurance due to financial constraints. Having a car is crucial for her to attend medical appointments. The accumulated fees are overwhelming, and the threat of registration suspension looms. I have tried contacting NJ EZ Pass at [redacted] and [redacted] without success. The website doesn't offer clear guidance on reaching a representative, adding to the frustration of this situation.
