Hello, I am inquiring about the Dollar Tree store located on Washington St in Woburn, MA [redacted]. Empty shelves and a disorganized store give the impression that a disaster has struck. Upon talking with the manager, I learned that the corporate office decided to reduce the budget for staffing, leading to the store being unable to restock efficiently. As someone with 20 years of experience in retail, I believe a well-stocked store would benefit the company financially in the long run. It's disheartening to see corporate decisions driven by greed rather than taking care of employees and the community. I hope to receive a response to this email soon. Thank you, Jim

I have been a loyal customer of Dollar Tree for many years, and I visited store #[redacted] on 2/15/[redacted] at 6:57pm. I found some Valentine's candy that was supposed to be 50% off, but it wasn't discounted on my receipt. I contacted the store and spoke with manager Sylvia, who told me to bring in my receipt for a credit. When I went back on 2/23/20 at 3:25pm, I explained the situation to a cashier and Sylvia. Sylvia was rude and aggressive, insisting the candy wasn't on sale because a customer had put it in the basket incorrectly. She eventually begrudgingly gave me the 50 cents discount. I was shocked by her behavior and had to deal with other upset customers in line. I have traveled and shopped at Dollar Tree stores all over the country and have never experienced such disrespectful behavior from a manager. I hope that Dollar Tree Corporate will address this unacceptable customer service from Sylvia. Thank you for listening. - Mike Rodriguez

On 2/25 at 9:30 AM, I visited store #[redacted] to purchase 2 plastic baskets. One was on the floor, so I inquired about it. The cashier consulted with the manager, Cindy, who stated it was not for sale and needed to be priced over $20. I found Cindy's attitude to be loud and impolite regarding a 10-gallon clear tub without a cap, which she indicated was over $20 and not for sale to the public. This incident made me feel uncomfortable as a customer at a discount store like Dollar Tree. I expressed my concerns to Cindy about her handling of the situation but felt the issue was not adequately addressed. I spoke with Mr. Justis, who mentioned it was an accident, but I reiterated my dissatisfaction with Cindy's behavior towards customers and store policies regarding items priced above $20. I hope for better customer service and respect towards one-dollar customers at the store in the future. Thank you.

I recently had a frustrating experience at Dollar Tree with their return policy. I returned four items - a charger cord that didn't work and three damaged craft items, all purchased on the same day. I was informed that the store only allows exchanges and no refunds, even though I had the receipt. When I tried to exchange the items, I was limited in the choice of what I could pick in return and was not allowed to get any food or drink items. This policy seems unfair and not disclosed properly. I felt pressured to select items instead of getting my cash back. I plan to file a complaint with the Michigan Attorney General's office and possibly pursue legal action, including a class-action lawsuit. I will also share my experience on social media and with the press to bring attention to this issue. I urge the CEO to address these concerns promptly to avoid further action.

I wanted to bring attention to the cleanliness issue at the Dollar Tree located at [redacted] E. Kings Canyon Rd., Fresno, CA [redacted]. The front entrance and sidewalks were extremely littered, which creates a negative impression for the entire shopping center. I contacted the Store Manager on Wednesday, March 4, [redacted] around 4:20 p.m. to address this concern. However, the Manager stated they are not responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the entrance and sidewalk. Despite trying to discuss the matter, the Manager seemed distracted and unresponsive. It is important that this issue is addressed promptly to enhance the store's image and provide better customer service. Thank you.

I am disappointed with the employee at Store # [redacted] in Vero Beach, Florida. I overheard her saying that getting the Coronavirus doesn't matter. This is very alarming, especially because I had protective gear on. I recently sent out handmade surgical masks to healthcare professionals in Missouri. New Yorkers are flocking to Florida due to COVID-19, and they're touching everything in stores like yours. It's crucial to take this situation seriously. I hope the issue with the employee is addressed promptly as the matter remains unresolved despite no communication from the store for two days.

On March 25, [redacted], I visited the Dollar Tree located at [redacted] Mahoning Ave in Youngstown, Ohio [redacted]. I handed a $20 bill to the cashier to pay for my items. The cashier and manager suggested the bill might be counterfeit, stating that it should have a security line. The cashier placed tape on the bill, which damaged it when removed. At the bank, I was informed that not all bills have a security line. The situation was embarrassing as it was loudly mentioned. When I returned to the store to clarify, the cashier was polite, but the manager was defensive and unfriendly. She insisted they were following protocol and dismissed the bank's opinion. This experience was upsetting, and I do not plan to return to that store in the future, especially considering the plight of someone relying on a $20 bill.

I visited your store in Harriman TN yesterday, 04/05/[redacted]. I experienced extremely rude treatment which left me embarrassed. Despite attempting to stay safe during these difficult times, I unintentionally started a verbal altercation. Upon entering the building, I was not greeted. When I requested a cart wipe, the cashier, identified as Amber, reluctantly sprayed the cart after my insistence. This caused a scene, and other customers confirmed the rudeness of the staff. Following an incident with my baby wearing a mask, involving inappropriate comments, the situation escalated as the manager joined in with confrontational behavior. Despite my raised voice when upset, I felt unfairly treated, culminating in being escorted out and banned from the store. This negative encounter tarnished my view of Dollar Tree, as I have had positive experiences at other locations. Thank you. - Patsy J.

After quickly leaving the store, I noticed that some items listed on my receipt were missing from the bags I emptied. The cashier was in a hurry at closing time, and my items may have been overlooked. This isn't the first time this has happened at the store, but I can't ignore it this time. The missing items amount to $11, and as a hardworking customer who enjoys shopping at your store, I want to ensure I receive everything I paid for.

I am interested in working at a Family Dollar in Rogers, AR, but I am facing challenges as I previously worked at a Dollar Tree in Farmington, AR. Due to leaving without notice back then, I was marked as non-rehireable. Although it was a mistake from my youth, I am now 23 years old and trying to move forward. Is there a possibility for HR to reconsider and remove this mark so that I can pursue employment at the Family Dollar in Rogers, AR? I am currently residing in transitional housing, making positive strides, and I am in urgent need of a job. I am presently employed at 1st Class Cleaning but am actively seeking new opportunities. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, B. Bachman.

I had a distressing experience today at a Dollar Tree location in Foley, Alabama. I am exceptionally upset and determined to see the employees involved held accountable for their actions. This type of treatment towards customers is unacceptable. I am urging Dollar Tree Corporate Management to act swiftly in addressing this incident. Recently, a corporate executive, Ms. Kimberly Kim Essex, was wrongfully accused of shoplifting at this store. She was accused as she left the store after being unable to find the items she was looking for. Despite offering to show her purse and proving her innocence, she received no apology for the humiliating ordeal. I have already reached out to the regional and district managers at Dollar Tree and will be following up with an email. Such behavior should not be tolerated, and I will continue to advocate for proper actions to be taken. It is disheartening to encounter such discriminatory treatment, especially in these challenging times.

Upon sharing my opinion with the store manager at [redacted] E. Roosevelt Blvd in Monroe, NC, I was promptly asked to leave. I expressed my concern about her behavior towards customers, stating that her approach was inappropriate. The manager's response was to dismiss me from the store, which was surprising and disappointing. I believe it's important for managers to handle situations more professionally. The incident occurred on March 29th at 12:05 pm. After this experience, I felt unwelcome as a loyal customer and felt compelled to share my feedback. I have also provided feedback via phone. It's disheartening to encounter such rudeness, especially coming from a manager in a customer-facing role.

I visited the store at [redacted] South Cotton Lane in Goodyear, AZ (#[redacted]) today, Wednesday 05/06/[redacted], at 11:01 am. My preferred store due to wide lanes and cleanliness. The newspaper is consistently $1.00 with coupons, the issue is sometimes the newspaper lacks them. Samantha typically checks for me, but today I faced an unpleasant encounter with Angie. When checking the newspapers for coupons at the counter, Angie abruptly approached me inappropriately, escalating the situation. This isn't the first time Angie has been disrespectful to my wife and me; this is the second occurrence. We visit the store on Sundays and Wednesdays specifically for the newspaper and supplies. Angie's behavior was uncalled for, and her demeanor changed once I addressed her. Angie then proceeded to treat other customers differently, furthering my discomfort. My wife recorded the interaction as Angie displayed preferential treatment. Threatening to share the video if action isn't taken, Angie seemed to believe she is immune to consequences. I urgently request to address this matter with someone promptly to prevent further incidents. Best regards, Prof. Fernando J. F. Master Instructor Customer Service [redacted]

I recently had a negative experience at Dollar Tree Store #[redacted] in Prince Frederick, MD. When I was checking out, the staff seemed distracted and were discussing a missing coworker. Despite the social distancing measures in place, I chose an open register, but the cashier rudely told me I was at the wrong one and made me move my items. She then made a threatening comment towards me, which was completely uncalled for. I shop at this store regularly and was shocked by this behavior. I would appreciate a phone call to discuss this incident further, as an email won't suffice. Thank you. - Bonnie

Last Saturday, I visited the Dollar Tree at Chapman and Brookhurst in Garden Grove, CA to purchase Mother's Day balloons. While browsing the balloons, the manager abruptly informed me they wouldn't be blowing up any balloons. I found some heart-shaped balloons tied together, but when I attempted to separate two, he loudly reprimanded me in front of other customers. Despite feeling disrespected, I calmly expressed my displeasure with his behavior. The manager denied yelling and asserted his authority, telling me to leave. Refusing, I requested to speak to the manager, only to be informed he was the manager. Feeling humiliated, I stayed to continue shopping, but I won't be returning to that Dollar Tree. I witnessed similar mistreatment towards another customer the day before. The manager's name is Ricky, and I believe the store needs a more professional and respectful manager.

On April 20, [redacted], I placed order #: EC[redacted]38 for 5 of my husband's favorite theater box candies. The M&Ms, Junior Mints, Whoppers, and Butterfinger Bites arrived well before the estimated delivery date. However, the Reese's Pieces have not arrived yet. Due to a typo in my address (52 Candlewood Dr. instead of 51 Candlewood), the UPS driver sought assistance at our mobile home park office to deliver the first part of my order. I understand that the missing item is not the fault of Dollar Tree. I am unsure what my next steps should be. Can you resend the item to the correct address or refund the purchase price of the Reese's so I can reorder it correctly next time? My husband has missed his Dollar Tree candy runs during this time, and we appreciate that you are shipping again. Thank you for your help. - B. C., 51 Candlewood Dr. Petaluma CA [redacted]

I recently had an unsettling encounter at the Dollar Tree on 21st Street in Norfolk, Virginia. Over the past few days, I purchased several bags of ice using my EBT card alongside other items. However, during my latest visit, the bag of ice didn't go through on my EBT. When I asked for assistance, a lady who identified herself as Lisa denied that ice was EBT eligible. Despite my explanation, she became confrontational, hurled insults at me, and even threatened physical violence. This behavior was unacceptable, especially considering my frequent patronage at the store. Moving forward, I will be taking my business elsewhere due to this unpleasant experience. I am seeking a resolution to this matter promptly.

To whom it may concern, I have been a loyal customer at the store in Debary, Florida for the past 6 years. Before it transitioned to a Dollar Tree, it was a Family Dollar with exceptional management and employees who I truly miss. Today, on May 15, [redacted], at 8:12 a.m., I arrived at the store after waiting in the parking lot since 7:55 a.m., as the sign on the door clearly states that the store opens at 8 a.m. for elderly and high-risk individuals. Despite waiting patiently, when I approached the door at 8:02 a.m., an employee ignored me and the manager continued with her tasks. Feeling frustrated, I knocked on the door at 8:10 a.m., and the manager responded rudely when I inquired about the opening time. She insisted the store opened at 8 a.m. and refused to consider that the sign clearly indicates priority shopping for high-risk individuals from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. I felt discriminated against as I may not appear ill or elderly but have health conditions that put me at high risk. The recent change in the staff’s attitude is concerning, especially the manager's unprofessional conduct today. These experiences have left me disappointed and hurt as a customer. Warm regards, A. At store #[redacted], my wife was shopping with our grandson when her wallet was taken by an unidentified employee. The employee used her credit cards to make a $[redacted] online purchase, which we confirmed by retracing our steps and finding the wallet later. When my wife went back to the store, the online transaction with her cards was still ongoing while the wallet was being returned to her.

While shopping with my mentally challenged client at the Latrobe PA store, we experienced unfair treatment. Despite browsing the store together, at the checkout, the cashier insisted my client stand by the door instead of with me. I was concerned as my client could have wandered off. Even after showing my work badge, the cashier cited corporate rules without empathy. I questioned why other customers in groups were not treated the same way. I felt embarrassed and questioned Dollar Tree's compliance with the Disability Act. The inconsistency was evident when my husband and I visited a different Dollar Tree without encountering such an issue. The situation left me frustrated and I hope this was not due to my client's condition. -CW-
